about

The CD contains more covers than originals; Wolf’s Howling for my darling, Sunday’s unique delivery along with her original verse from a woman's perspective and the band respects Wolf. Three Ruth Brown songs are covered as Jack and Wilde lean on her heavily . “Love Contest” illustrates their style.

This band is tight through all the tunes, Reno solo’s with Cleave and Steve on his “Moonlight Rising” and Sunday solos with Cleave, John and Reno on her “No matter how Far”. The session started at noon and was done by eight.

This collection evokes the early mid twentieth century period of
electric acoustic music piano bass drums harmonica bare bones
electric guitars played through 40 watt amps. The delivery of this
set is a concise deliberate, honest simple blending of blues, folk,
country and western with a touch of Gospel and pop.

“Even a Pentecostal Pastor who uses snakes would have to
wear oven mitts to handle this hot, sexy, steamy cd of love
and passion” Peter J. Moore (Bob Dylan, Basement Tapes)

THIS ALBUM is RENO JACK's LAST RECORDING - he passed away a number of months after this release. REST IN PEACE.
